Colin joined Vulcanite as our Engineering Manager and after accepting an exciting promotion opportunity is now our General Manager . With over 15 years of professional engineering experience, in his role as General Manager Colin ensures that the day to day operations of Vulcanite are technically driven and customer focussed.
Colin's professional experience is in both the plastics & rubber moulding industries, but most of his experience has been in the rubber manufacturing industry.
Colin started his career as a Mechanical Engineer for a gear manufacturer. He then worked at a leading international simulation software provider for the polymer injection moulding industry. He worked as a Research Engineer for the Intelligent Process Control Group of this provider before moving to their International Consulting Group as a Plastics Design Consultant.
Immediately before joining Vulcanite, Colin spent many years working at another major rubber manufacturer as a Senior Mechanical Engineer where his responsibilities included designing customised rubber products for the railway, automotive, defence & mining industries.
Colin completed his Bachelor Mechanical Engineering with honours from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 1994. Colin has also completed the General Managers program from AGSM, Sydney, Australia.

Ken joined Vulcanite Australia as our Sales Manager and has over 25 years of professional sales, marketing and management experience in construction, mining and railway industries.
His sales experience includes product development and promotion of industrial equipment to the mining & construction industries in Australia, China and South Africa. His last position was Business Development Manager (North America).
Over the last 5 years his main focus has been to developed the rail industry segment in North America. His success in this area has allowed Vulcanite to now employ a fulltime representative in the USA.
While Ken's new role is Sales Manager (Asia Pacific) and is responsible for developing markets in the New Zealand, South East Asia including PR China, Hong Kong and Singapore, he will still assist the NA manager in continuing to develop the US market as part of Vulcanite's 'Competitive Advantage' strategy, which has proved so successful to date.
Ken has Business Certificate IV "Frontline Management".

Faried joined Vulcanite as our Engineering Manager with 12 years of professional engineering experience gained from local as well as multinational companies.
Faried started his career as an apprentice draftsman, completing the necessary Tafe qualifications as well as the usual practical training on the shop floor. He completed his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology , Sydney in 1996.
Some of his professional experience includes:
Project / Design Engineer for a large multinational company manufacturing Power Transformers. Projects included “Design for Manufacture” and “Six Sigma” Quality Improvement projects
Project / Design Engineer for a large multinational company manufacturing and installing Elevators.

Quan is our Quality Manager and responsible for all aspects of our Quality & Assurance System.
Garrett joined Vulcanite as our Manager for North American Business. With over 17 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering and program managment, Garrett is our key contact for all North American Business.
Before joining Vulcanite, Garrett worked as a senior project engineer for Kinkisharyo International, LLC and as project engineer for Booz Allen Hamilton for a combined 15 years of rail transportation experience. Garretts rail vehicle engineering background will benefit all our North American clients.

Hien joined Vulcanite as our IT manager after gaining a Diploma in IT network engineering. His position at Vulcanite involves the day to day management of our IT systems and server as well as overseeing the data entry of information into our inventory system.
Recently Hien has taken on the role of Manufacturing & Warehouse Manager, which includes overseeing all aspects of our production process and the preparation of completed components for shipping etc..Hien is also involved in the management of the quality control system for this area.

Philip has 30 over years of working experience within the rubber industry. His experience include the processing and production of different grades of block natural rubber such as SMR L , CV, 10, 20, etc, deproteinised natural rubber (DPNR), latex concentrate and also include other latex grades such as cream latex , and other specialized latex production such as pre vulcanised(PV) latex.
Philip had been involved in the setting up and managing of the world’s first Epoxidised Natural Rubber (ENR) plant and also in the setting up and managing of a modern latex examination glove manufacturing plant in
Malaysia.
Philip has worked closely with various rubber product manufacturers and carried out R&D trials, rubber compounding, processing and compound and product testing.
Philip holds a BSc in Chemistry, MSc in Polymer Science & Technology, from Queens University, UK and an MBA from the Southern Cross University, Australia. Philip is also a Green Belt for the Six Sigma programme from
